Factory-Inspected for a New Home
Each loudspeaker in our Certified Pre-Owned range, whether a beloved classic or a recent model, has been carefully inspected and certified by Genelec experts at our factory, ensuring it meets Genelec’s high standards for sound quality and durability.
The two-year warranty provided for all Certified Pre-Owned loudspeakers reflects our historical – and continuing – commitment to delivering truthful sound, sustainable practice and advanced technology.
We process orders and dispatch products every business day. Loudspeaker products are available individually in the online store, as each product is unique.
The estimated delivery time is 2-5 business days. Delivery times for accessories depend on stock availability. If there is a delay in accessory delivery, we aim to deliver the missing product as soon as possible, within 30 days at most.
If we cannot meet the indicated delivery times after receiving your order, we will inform you immediately. If the customer does not accept the new delivery time, they have the right to cancel the purchase. The seller is not liable to business customers for costs or damages caused by delays or cancellations, but only for refunding the payment. In cases other than force majeure, consumer customers are entitled to compensation for damages caused by the delay, such as investigation costs, in accordance with consumer protection law.
Orders are delivered according to the available delivery method chosen by the customer. A delivery confirmation and tracking number will be sent to the email address provided during the order process once the products are packed at Genelec’s warehouse. Customers can track shipments using the tracking number if the selected delivery method includes a tracking service.
Products are generally delivered in a single shipment. However, Genelec reserves the right to deliver products in multiple shipments if the size or other justified reasons require it.
Force Majeure
Genelec is not responsible for delays or other breaches of contract caused by obstacles outside its control, which Genelec could not reasonably foresee at the time of the agreement and whose effects could not reasonably have been avoided or overcome.
According to the Finnish Consumer Protection Act, the consumer has the right to cancel the order placed in the online store within 14 days of receiving the ordered products (or the last batch of goods). Business customers do not have the right to cancel.
The purpose of the law is to give the consumer the right to get to know the product as it is possible in the store. The customer has the right to familiarize himself with the contents of the package and the product, but the customer is obliged to handle the products in his possession with care.
If the customer wants to exercise his right of cancellation, he should contact the online store's customer service, where he will receive instructions on how to make a return. The right of cancellation only applies to unused and salable products. If the customer has used or otherwise handled the product in a way other than what is necessary to determine the nature, properties or functionality of the product, it is the customer's responsibility to compensate for any reduction in the value of the returned product up to the full price of the product. The customer is responsible for the immediate costs of returning the products. The amount of return costs is estimated to be a maximum of 200 euros.
Genelec will reimburse the consumer customer for the value of the canceled products in the case of the cancellation of the entire order using the payment method that the consumer customer used in the original purchase transaction, unless the consumer customer has expressly agreed to another arrangement. The value of the canceled products will be refunded within 14 days of receiving the returned products at the latest. Genelec may refrain from refunding payments until it has received the canceled product, or until the consumer customer has proven that he has returned the product.
Failure to pick up the product is not a cancellation. If the consumer customer does not pick up the delivered product from the delivery location within the deadline and has not separately informed the customer service of the online store that he is using the right of cancellation, Genelec has the right to charge the consumer customer a fee that corresponds to the costs caused by the delivery.
Orders in the online store can be placed by both consumer and business customers. The consumer customer or representative of a company must be of legal age to place an order in the online store. The representative of a company confirms that they have the authority to place an order binding on the company.
The information collected from consumer customers or representatives of business customers during the order process, to enable online transactions, order delivery, and maintenance of the customer relationship, includes the name, company business ID, email address, phone number, and delivery address details. The customer is responsible for the accuracy and validity of this information. Online transactions and placing orders do not require the customer to register separately as a user of the online store.
Genelec acts as the data controller for the customer register and processes customers' personal data in compliance with the applicable data protection legislation. The privacy policy, in accordance with the GDPR, is available here: https://www.genelec.fi/tietosuojaseloste.
Customers may prohibit the use of their personal data for direct marketing purposes either during the order process or by contacting the online store’s customer service.
